Ian Bellia founded Open Answers in 1988 following a successful career as a Unix specialist at NCR working both in the UK and USA. Since that time Ian has overseen the growth of Open Answers, its evolution from delivering vendor-badged support on behalf of NCR to a fully fledged Unix services organisation that can boast some of the country’s largest organisations as customers.
In common with every other member of the Open Answers team, Ian is a Unix specialist and has a passion for new technology. But more than that, it is Ian’s commitment to customer service, problem ownership and desire to meet every customer need that has created the culture recognised by Open Answers customers. The company’s organic growth is testament to that culture, with the vast majority of new business being driven by word of mouth and recommendation from existing, highly satisfied customer organisations.
Jeremy Peet joined Open Answers from Dixons Group plc almost 20 years ago and has played a vital role in the company’s development. His broad technical expertise and experience has underpinned the successful deployment of dynamic web sites at both British Airways and Camelot, while his management skills have ensured the development of strong processes across the organisation’s support, consultancy and development service streams.
